Midwifery Review Board

Idaho Midwifery Council's Midwifery Review Board offers an accountability process to handle complaints or concerns via mediation rather than litigation. Formal complaints between any midwife, certified or non-certified, and a consumer, client, or other health care professional may be brought before the board for a fair hearing. The intent is not sit in judgment or to issue punishment. The goal is also to enhance communication, knowledge, skills accountability, and credibility within the midwifery community.

The MRB is composed of four Certified Professional Midwives (CPM's) in good standing and currently practicing in Idaho. Please feel free to contact any of the MRB members for further information or assistance with any concern regarding midwifery care.
